Our indigo dyed products have been finished with beeswax. Initially deep navy in appearance, the colour will gradually brighten to a true indigo with use and handling. The finish can be maintained by reapplying beeswax when the wood becomes dry.
What you need:
・Beeswax
・Dry cloths
Step 1: Clean
Remove any surface dust or moisture.
Step 2: Apply beeswax
Apply a suitable amount of beeswax by spreading it thinly and rubbing into the wood with a dry cloth.
Step 3: Dry
Polish with a dry cloth and leave to dry for 12 hours.
