Online orders

When will my order be shipped?

Domestic orders
We typically ship orders within 3 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

International orders
We typically ship within 5 working days of receiving your order.

Do you accept payment methods other than credit card?

Domestic orders
We offer payment-on-delivery with Sagawa Express.
This payment method cannot be selected online — please contact us with the following details and we will assist you via email.

・Product name/s and quantity
・Preferred delivery date and time (optional)

International orders
We accept payment by PayPal. For more information about PayPal, please visit their website.

Can I change or cancel my completed order?

You may change or cancel your order prior to dispatch. Please contact us within 24 hours of order confirmation.
For dispatched orders, please enquire within 7 days of delivery.

I haven’t received my order confirmation email.

Your order confirmation is automatically emailed to the email address you entered at checkout.
If you don’t receive your order confirmation email within 24 hours, please contact us via our enquiry form with your order details.

Returns, exchanges and repairs

Can I return or exchange my purchase?

We accept returns for new and unused items only, registered with us within 7 days of delivery. You can find more information on returns and exchanges here.

Shop services – Kakimori

What are in-store measures for COVID-19?

In-store measures for COVID-19
・Customer numbers are limited to allow sufficient distancing.
・Masks are worn by staff members at all times.
・Staff members are required to perform a temperature check prior to presenting for work. Staff who are unwell are not permitted to work.
・Protective screens have been installed at service counters.
・All areas including toilet facilities are routinely cleaned, sanitised and ventilated.
・Hand sanitisers are provided for use by all customers upon entry and exit.

For customers please note:
・Masks are a condition of entry
・Please check your temperature prior to your visit and do not enter if you have a temperature above 37.5°C.
・All cash payments are handled using change trays.

Do you have customer parking?

There is no on-site parking at Kakimori and Inkstand. Paid parking facilities are available nearby.

What payment methods are accepted in-store?

We accept cash as well as the following methods at both Kakimori and Inkstand:
Credit card (one instalment) – Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, Discover
Contactless – IC transport cards, iD, QUICPay, Apple Pay
*Please note that IC cards cannot be recharged at our stores.
*Accepted IC cards – Kitaca, Suica, Pasmo, Toica, Manaca, Icoca, Sugoca, Nimoca, Hayakaken

Do I need to book ahead to make an order-made notebook?

Reservations are not necessary. You can visit our shop and make your selections at any time.

What sizes are available for order-made notebooks?

We offer two sizes: B5 and B6.

Can I pick up my order-made notebook on the day?

We offer same-day collection for order-made notebooks.
If you are unable to collect on the day, we can arrange a later collection date or delivery – please ask a staff member.

How long will it take for my order-made notebook to be ready?

The typical preparation time is around 15-20 minutes per notebook. Please note that on weekends and during busy periods, it may take over an hour.

How long does the name embossing service for order-made notebooks take?

Please allow one week for in-store orders or 3 working days for online orders from the order date.

Same day and walk-in bookings are welcome subject to availability – please contact us.
