General maintenance
Cleaning
If you experience poor ink flow while using Kakimori or Inkstand ink, we recommend using our ink cleaning solution.
The solution is not recommended for use with products from other manufacturers.

Replacing the nib
If the rollerball nib becomes completely clogged due to dried ink, we recommend replacing it with a new nib.

Other use and care instructions
- Daily use is recommended to prevent the nib from drying out.
- The pen is designed for use with Kakimori and Inkstand pigment inks only.
- If ink clogging persists, replace the nib or clean it using our ink cleaning solution.
- If the ink fails to flow after a few minutes of refilling, press a tissue against the nib and gently shake the pen.
- After filling, ink colours may take several uses to reach full intensity.
- When travelling by plane, we recommend refilling the pen at your destination to prevent leakage during the journey.
