The illustrations are inspired by the abundant natural landscape of the Suzuka Mountains that straddle the border of Mie and Shiga prefectures. In a playful choice of sizing, a mountain view is depicted on a large postcard, while a sweet little squirrel features on a smaller postcard, each reflecting the size of its subject.
