Hana Ikushima Paperweight

¥4,400 (incl. tax)

A hand-carved paperweight by Hana Ikushima, a woodworker who lives and works in the Gifu mountains surrounded by an abundance of nature. The charming pebble-like form is the result of meticulous shaping and polishing, and surprises us with its luxurious lustre and soft touch. Enjoy the natural ageing process of wood as it evolves and develops a rich patina with time and use.

  • If the surface becomes dull, polish with beeswax to restore its lustre. Wipe thoroughly and allow to dry before use as oil residues may stain the paper.
