A tall evergreen of the cypress family, growing up to 50 metres in height, its wood is easy to work with and used for construction and furniture.

A handmade ballpoint pen by woodworking artist Toshimasa Kawamura. Each piece is carefully crafted from his collection of rare timber varieties, gathered over many years from around the world. We hope you’ll find a favourite among them.

The custom-designed push button and tip are crafted from brass. The raw brass finish will naturally develop a patina over time, creating a pen that evolves uniquely with you.

Please note: the clip is not made of brass.

Toshimasa Kawamura

A woodworking artist based in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, Kawamura collects rare and distinctive woods from Japan and around the world to craft a range of designs, including stationery, using his wood lathe.
