Journal

Nomura creates her work using a variety of materials, including acrylic and watercolour paints. Melodious days captures a day of heavy rain — its rhythmic sounds, the clear calls of birds and the colours of the scenery.

Having lived abroad since childhood in various regions including the United States, Nomura enjoyed a global corporate career before turning to art. Her firsthand experience of diverse cultures sparked a fascination with energetic and emotional realms that transcend language, inspiring a unique artistic practice that incorporates both words and imagery. Her evolving practice includes Dialogue Drawing® — a form of portraiture through dialogue that explores the inner self and captures the energy of the present moment.
