Journal

Nomura creates her work using a variety of materials, including acrylic and watercolour paints. Sound of life captures the first green shoots emerging among fallen leaves and soil as the long winter ends, signalling the coming of spring.

Having lived abroad since childhood in various regions including the United States, Nomura enjoyed a global corporate career before turning to art. Her firsthand experience of diverse cultures sparked a fascination with energetic and emotional realms that transcend language, inspiring a unique artistic practice that incorporates both words and imagery. Her evolving practice includes Dialogue Drawing® — a form of portraiture through dialogue that explores the inner self and captures the energy of the present moment.
