The limited edition notebooks feature original fabrics from fashion label Aseedonclöud by Kentaro Tamai. The label develops each seasonal collection around a fictional story. The 2022 Autumn Kiokushi collection follows the journey of mapmakers who catalogue our memories. Inspired by the notion of the written record, these fabrics make a fitting addition to our tools for writing.

Gun club check is a classic pattern created using more than two colours, originating in the mid-19th century as a uniform for Scottish shooting estates. The pattern came to Tamai when imagining the mapmakers on horseback.
