We’re delighted to introduce a new collection of handmade ballpoint pens by woodworking artist Toshimasa Kawamura.
Meticulously crafted from a rich and vast collection of timber varieties gathered over many years from around the world, no two pens are alike. Even within the same species, natural variations in grain and colour give each piece its own distinct character.
A small, curated selection is available in our online shop, while 15 to 20 varieties are on offer in-store.

Toshimasa Kawamura
A woodworking artist based in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, Kawamura collects rare and distinctive woods from Japan and around the world to craft a range of designs, including stationery, using his wood lathe.
