Important: Cleaning solution quality issue and replacement notice


Dear valued customers

We have identified an issue with the bottles of our Cleaning solution for Kakimori pigment inks. Due to a compatibility issue with the solution, external pressure from the cap or during transportation may cause damage to the bottle, including cracks.. This issue affects products purchased since 11 July 2023.

To prevent the risk of leakage with continued use, we are offering replacements in updated bottles to affected customers. We apologise for any inconvenience, and advise that you discard your solution in your household drain and dispose of the bottle according to your local waste disposal regulations.

《Unaffected product》

Please note that the Rollerball ink cleaning solution in white bottles is not affected by this issue and is not part of these instructions.



《Replacement information》

Please submit your purchase details through the replacement request form.
Once processed, replacements will be shipped starting late September, 2024.
Replacement requests will be accepted until April 2025.


《Product safety》

The cleaning solution is a mild alkaline classified as a ‘non-irritant’ to the skin. If the solution comes into contact with skin, rinse off with tap water. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with clean running water for several minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.

If the solution comes into contact with household items, clean thoroughly and allow to dry. Any white residue (sodium carbonate) remaining after drying poses no safety risk.

We are working to restock the product in new bottles around November, and will be notifying customers at this time.
